The screening and the film project is officially done

It has been a long journey to get to this stage. I had been working non stop for months just to get to this stage. I wanted to end the year with a bang and I felt like that I did. Here’s why:

The screening was on the Tuesday 5th May. I was nervous and excited to show it to my lecturer’s. I was beyond surprised on just how much they liked it. They said it was a great achievement and that just meant the world to me. It felt like a huge pat on the back for all the hard work and dedication we had put into.

We did the folder and we did a huge one as well. We realized that doing science fiction requires extensive amounts of detail and we had to include every single thing from pre production to production to post production.

The folder also included the DVD of the film. We did a cover and also added the film onto DVD. We gave it the most professional look as we possibly could. That will be in a later blog.

Now, it is safe to say that The Program is officially done and that the film will be finally shown in the Staffordshire University film theater on the 11th May from 4-6pm. If you can’t make it, then don’t worry as the film will be released on YouTube and Vimeo on the same day. I will update you soon about the plot and where the videos are as well.

And I also want to thank everyone who has helped me and supported me all the way through this filmmaking journey. It has been fun and also exhausting at the same time. It has been fun as I was with the best people while making the film. And it was exhausting because there was a lot to do. And many things which I will delve in a later blog.

Again thank you all so much and I hope you all enjoy my upcoming science fiction short film The Program. And don’t forget it will be released on Monday 11th May 2015.
